The Alhassan Salifu Muslim Community Center was founded by Sheikh Alhassan Salifu, a renowned Muslim scholar, preacher, author and philanthropist .located at the heart of Kumasi-Kejetia market, one of the largest trading centre in Africa. The Center has been instrumental for the campaign against extremism in the sub-region,promotion of peaceful co-existence,women advocacy etc . The strategic location of the center,with it facilities and programs for the community has attracted numerous traders from the sub-region to observe their salat whilst in Kumasi before travelling to southern parts of Ghana.
Apart from the preaching and protection of women's right,ASMCC provides a platform for the Muslim Community to promote a general understanding of Islam and toleration of other faiths .Assist Muslims in the practice of the Islamic faith by providing for their social, moral and spiritual needs. Foster and promote social contact and cooperation among Muslims and other communities for the betterment of all.
